in 2011 i started developing hba collections then directing the campaigns, then directing and producing hood by air presentations. shortly, that evolved into becoming partner. i developed hood by air from a underground streetwear phenomenon to a financially successful youth culture “shock from the future.”
winning both the lvmh prize and cfda award our surge of energy was a fashion industry game-changer. a new model for ready-to-wear has been made.
as a collective, we were really good at shows. it was unspoken and winning. my wish was to use the runway to evolve a few ideas that needed an update, like menswear was an ignored platform and in there, we as a collective became the work. it was an experiment in love fame money and chaos.
